This is Matt's top package. Matt will be there from the ceremony until the end of the night. He will take care of all aspects of entertainment and sound from start to finish. Please read in full the details of this package to gain a better understanding of what's included.

Background music to welcome guests into the ceremony

  • This is music selected by you to be played while the guests wait for your arrival, music is pre selected to your exact choice and order on CD, Matt can decide for you or help with any decisions. Matt will control all the music and you will not have to rely on any hotel staff or their sound systems.

Your choice of ceremony music performed live

  • You chose three songs of your choice, 1 song to be played whilst you walk down the aisle, song 2 as you sign the register, song 3 as you exit the ceremony. Matt will learn these songs of your choice, this is subject to the songs suiting his vocal range, and this can be discussed with Matt before committing to this package.

Guests and bridal party exit announcements

  • Matt will announce the Bride and Groom out the ceremony, making sure the atmosphere is electric and guests are cheering and clapping.

Clip microphone for the vows

  • Matt can also provide a clip microphone for the groom, this will be placed under his suit so no wires are showing in anyway, and this will allow all the vows from the Bride and Groom to be clearly heard during the ceremony. The vows are the most important thing and is what a wedding is about, everyone needs to hear them nice and clear.

Background music during the drinks reception

  • Specially selected music to be played whilst the drinks reception is taking place to keep the atmosphere of the day going.

Wedding breakfast toast mastering

  • Matt will announce the bride and groom into the wedding breakfast to a song of your choice played on CD. Matt will introduce all speeches making sure all guests attention is fully focused on the top table.

Live singing during the wedding breakfast

  • Matt will sing two 20min spots. The singing spots will take place in between courses. 1 spot will be after the starter, the 2nd after the main meal. This formula works best, if you have between 40 and 120 guests then it can easily take 20mins for the venue to clear away plates and serve the next course. This time lapse is filled by music and keeps everyone entertained. Music during the day is relaxed, Rat Pack & Swing, easy listening. Songs such as 'Fly me to the moon' Frank Sinatra or 'Your Song' Elton John. Matt can either get the guests singing along and walk around using his radio microphone interacting with guests or stay stationary for a more background style of performance, or a combination of both, whichever you prefer.

Background music in between singing spot(s)

  • This is played on CD during the times when Matt is not performing, the music is specially selected to reflect the time of day and sustain the atmosphere.

Microphone for the speeches

  • Speeches are always a big park and are always looked forward to and are even better when you clearly hear what's being said. A microphone helps a room to hear each word and makes the speech so much better. It's great for nervous speakers and is a must in a large room.

Quality equipment & sound

  • All equipment is sound checked and tested before any guests arrive, cables are tidy and music is played at the correct volume, Matt will control everything to do with sound so the hotel or venue do not need to be involved or relied upon.

Full disco for the evening with Matt as your DJ

  • This is a full request disco, you can request songs before the day or on the night. You may email a list of songs you like or leave Matt to control things for you.

Your first dance performed live to make it more special and personal

If you want Matt to sing your first dance then a few guidelines will need to be followed.

  • The song must be suitable for Matt's vocal range, you can discuss this with Matt and he will let you know by phone or email, or alternatively just fill it in here and we will let you know.
  • Matt must be able to find a quality backing track to sing to. Finding most tracks isn't a problem, the more popular the song the better chance of finding it.
  • The song must have been released in the UK or USA as a single within the last 40 years.
  • Songs must be originally sung by a male vocalist or male group.
  • Matt needs at least 4 week's notice prior to the wedding to learn the song for you.

99% of the time most songs are ok but Matt will let you know via email if the song of your choice isn't possible.

1.5 hours worth of live singing

  • Matt often performs (2 x 45mins) or (3 x 30mins) or the most popular(1x30 min and 1 x hour) (Matt Recommends) Most popular singing set times: 8:30pm first dance followed by a 1x15min set till 8.45pm, then disco and buffet. At 10:30pm Matt will return to the stage to perform a 1 x hour set, lively songs as people have now had chance to relax and the buffet is out the way and the wine is flowing. DANCING TIME!!! Matt will then finish the night with 3 songs to end on a high. Matt sings a wide range of music, the object of an evening performance is to get everyone dancing; Matt has been singing for years and knows the songs that (a) suit his voice and (b) gets the party started.

  • Stage lights to light Matt up during his singing spots, to create a stage atmosphere.

  • This includes Matts portable stage, it makes things look professional and highlights the fact that you have live entertainment, you want your guests to see your singer and not just hear them. This includes Matt's LED star vision cloth to create a stage looking effect

  • This is fantastic for making the stage area look special and gives that extra special image factor. A star cloth is a black sheet fabric material 3 x 2 metres full of 120 little LED bulbs, they can be pink, white, blue, grean and almost any colour possible. It gives a star effect. VERY popular with Brides and guests and is highly complimented.

Free Matt Johnson CD to use for your wedding memories or wedding video

This is a free CD to keep. You can have it to remember the day and show friends and family that never attended or could not make the day, use it for the wedding video if you have one made.
